Duchess Of Gloucester’s Visit And Events
Bermuda is set to welcome the Duchess of Gloucester who will take part in a series of engagements during her visit, including participation in the Royal Bermuda Regiment’s 60th Anniversary celebrations, cultural tours, and community visits.
A spokesperson said, “As Bermuda prepares to welcome HRH The Duchess of Gloucester tomorrow 16th October, Government House today outlined some of the events and activities that HRH will engage in while on island.
“Hosted by His Excellency the Governor, Andrew Murdoch CMG, HRH The Duchess of Gloucester is visiting Bermuda in part to support and participate in the Royal Bermuda Regiment’s 60th Anniversary celebrations as their Colonel-in-Chief, and as Patron of Masterworks.
“Her stay also seeks to highlight Bermuda’s heritage, community, and environmental stewardship.

- Royal Bermuda Regiment Trooping of the Colours and presentation of operational service medals [11.20 am ~ 12.30 pm]:
- Open to the public, all are welcome. [Free*] This event will also be carried live on the Government’s television station CITV.
- A free ferry will depart from Hamilton Ferry Terminal at 9.45am to transport members of the public to Dockyard for the Parade and operational medal presentation. The same ferry will be returning to Hamilton at the end of the event.

“HRH the Duchess of Gloucester departs Bermuda on the evening of Monday 20 October. As a note, this will be the fourth official visit of HRH the Duchess of Gloucester to Bermuda, the last being in 2015.”
