Christian Ebbin Helps Tulane Lead ACC Finals
Bermudian sailor Christian Ebbin and his Tulane University Sailing teammates are the overnight leaders of the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Finals following a strong start to the competition.
Tulane established an early advantage in the highly competitive 18-school fleet, sitting atop the leaderboard with a total of 58 points after the first day of racing in the two-person 420/FJ dinghies.
Ebbin, who serves as the helm for the Tulane B Division boat, helped his division finish the day in eighth place with 44 points. The B Division’s best result was a fourth-place finish in the fourth race, contributing low points to the overall team score.
Tulane’s overall position is significantly aided by the performance of its A Division boat, which leads its division with 14 points.

Featured in the regatta along with Tulane are teams from Boston College, Bowdoin, Brown, College of Charleston, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Hobart & William, Jacksonville, MIT, Roger Williams, St. Mary’s, Stanford, Coast Guard, Navy, Pennsylvania, and Yale.
