Field Hockey: Hurricanes Defeat Swizzles 3-2
The Hurricanes defeated the Swizzles 3-2 in a Bermuda Field Hockey League match at the National Sports Center, completing a comeback from a two-goal deficit.
The Swizzles took an early lead with a field goal from Jess Charles in the 4th minute. Charles extended the lead in the 17th minute, bringing the score to 2-0.
Hurricanes’ Jonathan Evans scored in the 25th minute, reducing the deficit to 2-1 before halftime.
In the second half, Evans scored his second goal of the match in the 42nd minute to tie the game. Jack Finlay secured the victory for the Hurricanes with a goal in the 51st minute.
