Gombey Festival Postponed Until Sunday
The Department of Culture announced that the Gombey Festival has been postponed until Sunday [Oct 19] due to the weather forecast.
A Government spokesperson said, “The public is advised that due to the weather forecast of high winds later today, a decision has been made to postpone today’s Gombey Festival.
“The event will now take place tomorrow, Sunday, October 19, 2025.
“The Department of Culture advised that the anticipated high winds pose a logistics concern, and in the interest of safety the event will now be held tomorrow.
“The Department of Culture apologises for any inconvenience caused and looks forward to seeing attendees on Sunday.”
