Bermudians Help Radcliffe FC Advance
Radcliffe FC’s Under-18 squad, featuring Bermudians Syhon Goater and Kiemi Chamberland, defeated Altrincham in a penalty shootout to advance to the First Round of the FA Youth Cup in England.
The Third Qualifying Round match at the Neuven Stadium ended in a scoreless 0-0 draw, requiring the match to be decided by spot-kicks. Radcliffe ultimately won the shootout 5-4.
Goater entered the match as a substitute for Radcliffe in the 67th minute, and Chamberland was substituted into the match in the 78th minute.
