Kiwon Waldron Finishes Second At Hoosier Park
Bermudian harness pony racing driver Kiwon Waldron narrowly missed out on a win at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, finishing second by the smallest of margins in his lone Qualifying race of the card.
Competing in Race 1 of the Pace Class, Waldron was in the sulky of Ponda Eagle. They delivered a powerful run, clocking a fast time of 1:54&4.
However, the pair were dramatically nipped at the line by their competitor. Michael Oosting, driving Epic Ace, edged ahead in the final strides to steal the victory, recording a winning time of 1:54&3.
