New Comers, Last Pins & Star Lites Win
Sixth-placed New Comers delivered a significant upset in the Second Spring Senior Bowling League this week, defeating second-placed Blue Angels 3-1 at Warwick Lanes.
The result has caused a shake-up near the top of the league standings. In other action, Last Pins shut out seventh-placed Islanders 4-0 to secure a comprehensive victory. Third-placed Star Lites maintained their position by defeating fifth-placed Pinsplitters 3-1.
League leaders Drifters had a bye week and will return to competition next week.
