Bermuda Bowling Team Compete In Hong Kong

The Bermuda National Team began competition at the International Bowling Federation [IBF] World Bowling Championships in Hong Kong, with six bowlers participating in the Men’s Singles event on the opening day.

Dennis Joell recorded the highest finish for the Bermuda contingent, placing 28th in the Men’s Singles Squad 1 Division. Joell accumulated a total pin count of 1,211, bowling a 247 in his second game. Anthony Hayward, also competing in Squad 1, finished 43rd with a total of 1,149 pins and a high game of 202.

In the Squad 2 Division, Michael Honore finished 49th with a total pin count of 1,116, recording a score of 201 in his final game. David Maycock placed 56th in the same squad, finishing with 1,045 pins and a best game of 205.

Lamar Richardson finished 53rd in the Squad 3 Division with a total of 1,118 pins, bowling a high score of 245 in his fifth game. Dayvon Tucker placed 56th, accumulating 1,051 pins with a high score of 185.
