Bermuda Tops Group At Pickleball World Cup
The Pickleball Association of Bermuda [PAB] announced that Bermuda’s Open Team swept their group stage competition and posted the highest point differential among all 68 nations, earning the prestigious #1 seed for the knockout stage of the 2025 Pickleball World Cup.
A spokesperson said, “This accomplishment is a landmark achievement in Bermuda’s international competition history and reaffirms Bermuda’s status as a global and regional leader in competitive pickleball.
“This year’s Open division featured 68 countries divided into 17 groups of four, with the top two teams in each group progressing to the knockout rounds. Importantly, this marks the second consecutive year that Bermuda’s team has emerged from the group stage and into the knockout rounds of the World Cup—affirming the sustained growth, strength, and strategic direction of the PAB and the remarkable development of pickleball in Bermuda.
