Modern Governance Conference Set For Dec 2
The Bermuda Chapters of IIA and ISACA will host their rescheduled 2025 Annual Conference on December 2, focusing on modern governance and professional development.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Chapters of The Institute of Internal Auditors [IIA] and ISACA have rescheduled their 2025 Annual Conference to Tuesday, December 2, 2025, following the postponement caused by Hurricane Melissa. The event will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the HSBC Bermuda Harbourview Centre, offering 7.5 CPE credits and a full day of learning and networking.
“This year’s theme, “Modern Governance – Balancing Agility, Security and Assurance,” reflects the growing need for governance frameworks that support innovation while maintaining trust, security, and regulatory compliance.
“The conference will open with remarks from Marico Thomas, Chair of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce. The agenda features sessions on the evolving role of internal audit, lessons from transformation initiatives, and practical approaches for embedding strong governance into everyday operations.
