Bowling Teams Compete In Doubles In China
The Bermuda national bowling team competed in the men’s doubles event at the International Bowling Federation World Bowling Championships in China.
None of the Bermudian doubles’ teams advanced to the next round.
The highest placement came in the Men’s Doubles Squad 2 Division, where Lamar Richardson and Dennis Joell finished in 22nd place.
They accumulated a total pin count of 1,361. Richardson and Joell’s best performance of the day was their second game, where they bowled a 243.
In the men’s doubles Squad 1 Division, Dayvon Tucker and Anthony Hayward finished 28th overall.
They finished with a score of 1,215 pins, with their highest score of 202 coming in their fifth game.
In the men’s doubles Squad 3 Division, Michael Honore and David Maycock also finished 28th.
They recorded a total pin count of 1,269 pins, with their best game, a 212, occurring in their fourth game.
