Pickleball National Championships Results
The 2025 Bermuda PickleBall National Championships concluded at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium, with Gavin Manders dominating the men’s divisions by securing both the singles and a key doubles title, while Imani Phillips was crowned the women’s singles champion.
Gavin Manders confirmed his status as the island’s top male player by winning the men’s singles title in straight sets. He defeated Tom Mills with a convincing scoreline of 11-2, 11-6.
In the women’s singles final, Imani Phillips put on a dominant display to claim the championship. She defeated Rachel Sawden in straight sets, winning 11-0, 11-6.
Manders completed his championship double by teaming up with Mical Russell to win the men’s doubles 4.5+ open title. The pair faced a tight battle against Jamie Stowe and Jasper Thomas, needing a third-set decider after losing the opener. Manders and Russell ultimately prevailed 9-11, 12-10, 11-4.
In the women’s doubles competition, Patricia Mills and Melisa Judd were crowned the women’s doubles 4.0 open champions. They secured the title with a straight-sets victory, defeating Courtney Fisher and Lily Hallett 11-3, 11-2.
