Swimming: Taylor White Wins Two Races
Bermudian swimmer Taylor White secured victories in two individual events to help the Bentley University Women’s Swimming & Diving team defeat Assumption University 132-71 in their home opener at the Dana Center.
White, competing for the Falcons, won events at both ends of the distance spectrum. She finished first in the Women’s 1000 Yards Freestyle, posting a time of 10 minutes, 54.56 seconds [10:54.56].
She also recorded the fastest time in the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke, completing the race in 1 minute, 1.03 seconds [1:01.03].
In addition to her individual wins, White swam the lead-off backstroke leg for the victorious 200 Yard Medley Relay team.
