Bermuda To Host CTO Spring Meetings In 2026

The Ministry of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport announced that Bermuda will host the Caribbean Tourism Organization [CTO] Spring Meetings and Industry Forum from 22–25 February, 2026, at the Hamilton Princess Hotel.

A Government spokesperson said, “The 2026 Spring Meeting and Industry Forum will spotlight a critical theme, regional air connectivity, a strategic priority that shapes the development, accessibility, and competitiveness of Caribbean tourism. The event will convene key stakeholders, including government officials, airline executives, tourism leaders, and private-sector partners, to explore innovative solutions and actionable strategies to strengthen connectivity across the region.

“The CTO, the Caribbean’s leading tourism development agency, represents 25 Dutch, English, and French-speaking member countries, alongside a robust network of private-sector allies. Guided by its vision to position the Caribbean as the world’s most desirable year-round destination.

“During the recent CTO meeting, the Hon. Owen Darrell, Minister of Tourism &Transport, Culture & Sport, joined Erin Wright, Acting CEO and Chief Operations Officer of the Bermuda Tourism Authority, and William ‘Billy’ Griffith, Chairman of the CTO Allied Board of Directors, and Acting Chair of Bermuda Tourism Authority, to discuss key priorities including cruise and airlift development, technology and innovation, resilience financing, and the modernization of Caribbean tourism strategies.

“In his address to the CTO Council of Ministers, Commissioners, and Board of Directors, Minister Darrell highlighted Bermuda’s unique strengths and the opportunities for collaboration at the upcoming February forum.”

Minister Darrell stated, “At the CTO’s December meeting in Miami, I was proud to present Bermuda as a premier destination renowned for its world-class facilities and hospitality. We look forward to welcoming CTO members and showcasing our island’s beauty and vibrancy. This event will unite tourism stakeholders, business leaders, and community advocates to drive meaningful dialogue on air service development and regional growth.”
