Week 13 of the continental bowling league saw the top challengers put in strong performances at Warwick Lanes, with the Under Dawgs and Odd Balls both claiming victories.
With league leaders Nifty Rollers having the bye, the teams directly below them capitalised on the opportunity. Third-placed Odd Balls delivered a decisive victory over fourth-placed Astronauts, winning 22-5. Second-placed Under Dawgs also ensured they kept pace at the top of the table by defeating sixth-placed Cubs with a commanding score of 22.5 – 4.5.
Seventh-placed Spicenix secured a massive win over eighth-placed New Hope, dominating the match 26-1. Meanwhile, fifth-placed The Invaders defeated ninth-placed Sunset with a clear score of 20-7.
