Jake Brislane Produces Top Performances
Jake Brislane has underlined his cross-country credentials with top-ten finishes against strong fields in England and Bermuda.
Representing the University of Warwick, Brislane took to the start line at the Newbold Comyn for the Birmingham & District Invitation Cross Country League in England.
Competing in a Division One race hosted by the Birmingham Cross Country League, Brislane finished seventh in 32min 25sec.
Brislane, who represented Bermuda at the International Island Games in Orkney, Scotland, last summer, competed in the Red Cross Jingle Bell 5K Run on home soil, winning the men’s race in 15:54.
Sanchez Smith came second in 16.25, with Dylan Eiselt third in 17.06.
Estienne Coetzee won the women’s race in 18.03.
