A motocross event dubbed ‘Scrambling Coney Island’ was held at Coney Island Park on Sunday [Dec 28], drawing crowds of spectators and participants for a full day of competitive racing and family-friendly activities.

The well-organised event showcased the growing popularity of motocross, commonly known as scrambling, and created a lively, positive atmosphere throughout the venue.

“I attended the event personally and was pleased with what I saw,” Minister of Public Works and Environment Jaché Adams said. “The turnout was strong, the atmosphere was positive, and the event was well organised.

“It was clear that many families and residents welcomed the opportunity to enjoy this activity in a safe and responsible setting.”
