Rhys Insley & Sam Williamson Win Silver Medals
Bermuda swimmers Rhys Insley and Sam Williamson secured silver medals at the JP Fiset Invitational meet in Edmonton, Canada. The pair, representing [Harbour Swim Club], recorded personal best times in their respective events.
Sam Williamson placed second in the Men’s 100m Freestyle 16 and over A Final. He recorded a time of 53.29 seconds in the preliminaries, which seeded him in third place. In the final, Williamson lowered his time to a personal best of 52.59 seconds to take the silver medal.
Rhys Insley finished second in the Men’s 200m Breaststroke. Insley posted a preliminary time of 2:26.30, entering the 16 and over A Final as the second seed. He completed the final race in a personal best time of 2:22.86.
These results followed gold medal wins for both swimmers in the 50m Butterfly and Breaststroke events on the previous day of the meet.
