Two Motorcycle Collision On Somerset Road
A collision involving two motorcycles on Somerset Road resulted in two people being injured
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 9pm on Friday, 19 December 2025, police and other emergency services were dispatched to reports of a serious road traffic collision involving two motorcycles on Somerset Road, near the junction with Cricket Lane, Sandys.
“Initial enquiries suggest that one of the motorcycles was exiting the Carousel Liquors property, while the other was traveling in the eastbound lane of Somerset Road when the collision occurred.
“One man was transported by ambulance to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment of a suspected head injury. The second man was taken to hospital by a private vehicle for treatment.
“Police are currently processing the scene and traffic diversions are in place at Long Bay Lane and Cricket Lane. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
