Terence Dill’s Storm Defeated By Marshals
Terence Dill’s Houston Red Storm basketball team were defeated 124-112 away to the Midlothian Marshals yesterday [January 11].
The Red Storm, who play in the American Basketball Association league, were missing several players through injury.
Head coach Dill said: “I’m proud of the fight in this group.
“We’re banged up right now, playing short-handed on the second night of a back-to-back, but we never made excuses.
“We shot over 60 per cent from inside the arc because we stayed aggressive.
“We just ran out of gas late against a fresh Midlothian team. We have to get healthy because the road doesn’t get any easier from here.”
Dill, a former Storm player, was appointed head coach of the Red Storm in September.
The Red Storm lost 119-109 away to the Texas Purple Kings on Saturday.
