Bermuda’s Archers Prepare For US Events

Bermuda’s top archers are preparing to compete internationally in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

A five-member team, led by head coach Ross Roberts, will test their skills at the Lancaster Archery Classic and the Easton Youth & Collegiate Trophy Tournament.

The events, which run from Wednesday to Sunday, mark the opening international tournaments of the indoor season for Bermuda’s archers.

Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious indoor tournaments, the Lancaster Archery Classic attracts thousands of competitors.

Bermuda will be represented in the Men’s Olympic Recurve Division by Camerin Pickering and Jamie Fraser.

While the senior athletes contest the Classic, Bermuda’s youngsters will shoot at the Easton Youth & Collegiate Trophy Tournament.

Elektra Smith will compete in the Women’s 18–20 Junior Division, while Braeden Fraser will feature in the Cub Male Recurve [13–14] category.

Jaydon Roberts will also travel with the team to train at the Lancaster Archery Academy.
