Police Appeal To Locate Missing Teens [Located]

[Updated] The police renewed their appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Nai-Che Smith and 17-year-old Keith Richardson Jr.

A police spokesperson said, “Efforts are ongoing by the Bermuda Police Service [BPS] to locate two teens and the appeal for the public’s assistance regarding information on their whereabouts continues.

“Nai-Che Smith, aged 16, was last seen at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Monday, 5th January 2026, at a residence in Devonshire.

“He is described as 5’9” tall, of slim build, brown-complexioned, with brown hair worn in dreadlocks.

“Keith Richardson Jr., aged 17, was last seen at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 6th January 2026, also at a Devonshire residence.

“He is described as 5’8” tall, of slim build, dark-complexioned, with black hair worn in an Afro.

“Once again, anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to call 295-0011 or 211.

“The BPS reminds the public that harbouring a juvenile is an offence punishable under the law.

“A person found guilty of such an offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $3,000, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months.”

Update Jan 9, 11.19am: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm that 16-year-old Nai-Che Smith and 17-year-old Keith Richardson Jr., who were previously reported missing, have both been located safe and well. We thank the public for their assistance in helping to locate them.”
