Tucker, Basden Compete At Gainesville Meet
Denver Tucker and Cameron Basden competed at the Gainesville Indoor Classic at the Alachua County Events Centre in Gainesville, Florida.
Tucker, representing St Thomas University in Miami, lined up in the men’s 60 metres preliminaries.
Tucker, who has a personal best of 6.91sec, stopped the clock in 6.97, finishing eleventh overall, narrowly missing out on the final.
Meanwhile, Basden, competing for Barry University in Miami, competed in the 200, crossing the line in 22.60 to finish 24th.
He then competed in the men’s long jump, recording a best leap of 6.45 to place twelfth.
