Close Finish In Landro Minors Tournament
The Landro Minors Memorial Golf Tournament was decided by retrogression after two teams finished tied at 15-under par following 18 holes at Ocean View Golf Course.
Kavon Trott, Darriek Douglas, Eugene Smith and Gary Peniston were crowned champions after edging Allan Bradshaw, Cornell Bean Jr, Cornell Bean Sr and Curtis Booth on countback.
Closest-to-the-pin contests were held throughout the day, with Sammy Robinson winning on the second hole, Billy Joe Pitcher on the seventh and Marcellos Thomas on the ninth.
On the back nine, Peniston added another prize by claiming closest to the pin on the 11th hole. Talbot won the contest on the 16th, while Bentley Gibbons secured honours on the 18th.
