Visiting Caribbean Ministers joined a specially curated tour of Hamilton to explore Bermuda’s legacy of resistance, civil rights, and social justice under the powerful theme “A Monument. A Testament.”

A spokesperson said, “As part of the Caribbean Tourism Organization Ministerial programme, visiting Ministers participated in a curated historical and cultural tour of the City of Hamilton under the theme ‘A Monument. A Testament.’ The experience explored Bermuda’s legacy of resistance, civil rights and social justice, highlighting sites connected to The Progressive Group, the Black Beret Cadre and other defining moments in our national story.

“The tour concluded at the Cabinet Building with a meet and greet hosted by the Premier, the Hon. David Burt, JP, MP, and the Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, the Hon. Owen Darrell, JP, MP. Bermuda was pleased to share its history, culture and leadership with regional partners as part of the CTO Air Connectivity Summit programme.”

Bermuda has less to offer due to our conservative tourism model. We have limited attractions, prohibitive policies and no forward thinking policymakers. Bermuda is what some refer to as ‘Boremuda’. No nightlife, no attract outside of forts and city hall…..Minister Darrell is delusional!
