Sanaa Morris Competes At Penn Classic

Bermudian sprinter Sanaa Morris delivered strong performances for Howard University at the 2026 Penn Classic over the weekend.

Competing at the Penn State-Ashenfelter Track, known for its fast 200m banked circuit, Morris balanced a busy schedule of individual sprints and relay events.

She opened her day in the Women’s 60m Dash, finishing in 8.10 seconds to place 40th in a competitive regional field.

Morris improved in the Women’s 400m Dash, crossing the line in 57.99 seconds to claim 14th place, slightly bettering her 58.22 performance at the recent Penn Select meet.

The highlight came in the Distance Medley Relay, where Morris ran the high-intensity second leg to help Howard secure second place. The team finished in 12:06, earning valuable points and a podium spot for the university.
