WeSpeak Launches Rise Corporate Series

WeSpeak Bermuda, the public-speaking charity dedicated to empowering women and teen girls to project their voices with confidence, has announced the launch of its Rise Corporate Series marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s continued growth and impact.

A spokesperson said, “Designed in partnership with Dr. Jennifer Card, Dr. Crystal Clay, Gayle Gorman and Lorene Phillips, and in response to demand from many of our corporate supporters, the Rise Series is a structured suite of four expert-led training modules aimed at strengthening women’s communication skills, leadership presence and workplace confidence. Delivered by four women that are both professional facilitators as well as trained WeSpeak coaches and supporters, the programme offers practical, results-driven development opportunities.

“The Rise Series includes four standalone modules: Effective Presence, Defining Your Personal Brand, The Art of Impromptu Conversations, and Difficult Conversations: Mastering the Art of Tough Talks. Organisations may select individual modules or combine sessions to create a tailored professional development experience. True to WeSpeak’s charitable mission, 50 percent of all proceeds from the Rise Series are reinvested into the organisation’s community programmes, including Boot Camps and Teen initiatives.”

Executive Director of WeSpeak Bermuda, Sue Khan said, “The Rise Series launch represents a natural evolution of our work and allows us to extend the confidence-building tools we are known for into the workplace, while ensuring that every corporate engagement directly supports our charitable programmes.”

“The 2026 Board includes Kathleen Faries [Chair], Tracy Berkeley [Vice Chair], Talia Burgess, Sarah Dunstan, Gemma Godfrey, Renee Lewis, Fiona Luck, Alison Morrison, Carolyn Myers, Tammy L Richardson Augustus JP, Malika Taylor, McKenzie-Kohl Tuckett, Shade Subair Williams, Suzanne Williams and Myra Virgil.

“WeSpeak also extends its sincere thanks to its outgoing Board members: Kirsten Beasley [Vice Chair], Kendaree Burgess, Grainne Richmond, Jo Stanton and Laura Taylor for their dedication, leadership and significant contribution to the organisation’s development. A special thank you to Carolyn Myers for her time in the Chair [2022-2025] and continues to remain on the board in 2026.”
