Zebras, X-Road’s, Vasco & Trojans Win
Wins by PHC Zebras, X-Road’s, Vasco and Somerset Trojans reshaped the Premier and First Division standings as Bermuda’s domestic title races continued.
Premier Division
Young Men’s Social Club 0 PHC Zebras 2
The PHC Zebras moved back to the top of the Premier Division with a 2–0 win over Young Men’s Social Club.
Diondre Dowling opened the scoring in the 34th minute, and Enrique Russell added a second in the 50th minute.
X-Road’s 4 St. George’s Colts 1
X-Road’s defeated St. George’s Colts 4–1 at Lord’s.
An own goal in the 27th minute gave X-Road’s the lead before Donavan Thompson doubled the advantage three minutes later with a rebound. St. George’s reduced the deficit in the 75th minute through an own goal, but Paul Simons scored in the 82nd and 88th minutes to seal the result.
First Division
Vasco 4 Wolves 2
Vasco claimed a 4–2 victory over Wolves at the Police Field.
Kevin Arruda converted a penalty just before halftime to give Vasco the lead. Jarred Douglas equalized for Wolves early in the second half. Vasco responded with goals from Lucas Da Silva Marcal, Antwan Russell and Ludero Ponte. Khiari Sharrieff Hayward scored late for Wolves.
St. David’s 1 Somerset Trojans 3
Somerset Trojans went back to the top of the First Division standings with a 3–1 win over St. David’s.
An own goal gave Somerset the lead before halftime. Jaelan Greaves made it 2–0 from the penalty spot in the 61st minute. Christian King pulled a goal back for St. David’s, but Kameron McNeil scored in the 80th minute to secure the victory.
