Bermudian Runners Shine At Cooper River Run
Bermudian runners Adam Cenzer and Lamont Marshall secured podium finishes at the 44th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run this weekend, leading a successful showing for the island’s delegation in a field of more than 31,000 participants.
Cenzer, 14, placed second in the Boys 10-14 age division. He completed the 10-kilometer course, which includes the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, in 38:53.
The result followed an earlier podium finish by veteran Lamont Marshall. Competing in the Masters Division, Marshall finished third with a time of 31:59. His performance placed him 25th overall in the mass-participation event.
