Betschart Siblings Compete In Junior Golf
Darina Betschart leads the Girls 15 and Under division at the Puerto Rico Junior Island Championships after two rounds at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande.
Betschart opened with an 83 and followed with a seven-over par 79, which included a birdie, to sit at 18-over par overall and hold the lead heading into the final stages.
In the Boys International Division, Oliver Betschart is tied for eighth at five-over par after rounds of one-under par 71 and six-over par 78. His opening round included four birdies and 11 pars.
Arman Newton is in 32nd place in the same division at 19-over par after rounds of 79 and 84. His opening round featured 12 pars.
