Tourism Authority Sponsor Adrian Roach
Boxer Adrian Roach has been sponsored by the Bermuda Tourism Authority for his professional fight in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Saturday [March 21].
The 23-year-old welterweight has won his first two contests since turning pro and will step up from four rounds to six rounds for the first time.
It will be his first outing in the United States.
Roach, who trains at Controversy Gym under coach Leo Richardson, wrote on social media: “Big thank you to the Bermuda Tourism Authority for coming on board as my Platinum Sponsor for my upcoming fight in Greensboro, North Carolina.
“It means a lot to represent Bermuda every time I compete overseas, and I’m proud to have the island behind me for this one.
“The Bermuda Tourism Authority works to showcase everything that makes our island special to the world – and I’m honoured to help carry that flag into the ring.”
