New Initiative To Expand Golf In Bermuda
A new charitable initiative, Beyond the Fairways, has been launched to make golf more accessible and inclusive in Bermuda.
The organisation was founded by Quinton Sherlock Jr, Daniel Augustus, Ebonie Cox and Arriek Douglas, who each have backgrounds in the sport through Bermuda’s junior programmes.
The group aims to address financial and structural barriers to participation, while promoting opportunities in education, travel and career development through golf.
Beyond the Fairways will focus on youth development, access and inclusion programmes, education and scholarship pathways, and community engagement.
The initiative plans to begin rolling out programmes in the coming months and is seeking support from sponsors, donors and community partners.
