Basden Claims Two Personal Bests At NSU
Bermudian sprinter Cameron Basden recorded two personal best performances while competing for Barry University at the NSU Alumni Invitational hosted by Nova Southeastern University.
Basden finished third in the 100 metres, clocking a personal best time of 10.74 seconds in a field featuring collegiate competitors.
He followed that effort with another personal best in the 200 metres, placing fifth in 21.86 seconds.
Basden also competed in the men’s 4×100 metre relay as a late addition to the lineup. Teaming with Christiano Austin, Tenarion Carney and Jaylon Sarjeant, he helped Barry University secure second place in 41.28 seconds.
