Victories For Hornets And St George’s
League leaders Dandy Town Hornets defeated Boulevard 4-1 in the Premier Division at White Hill Field.
David Jones Jr opened the scoring in the eighteenth minute before Enrique Swan doubled the advantage two minutes later. Tomiko Goater added a third in the 36th minute.
Goater scored his second with 15 minutes remaining before Keedai Astwood netted a late consolation for Boulevard.
Meanwhile, St George’s Colts came from two goals down to defeat North Village 3-2 at Wellington Oval.
Village led 1-0 at half-time through Pierre Smith and appeared in control when Jai Bean doubled the advantage just before the hour mark.
St George’s began their comeback in the 65th minute through Leroy Lewis. Jyrus Dill levelled the score a minute later before Blaiz Hall completed the turnaround in the 74th minute to seal the victory.
