Winter League Finals Set For Thursday
After seven weeks of competition, the Thursday 2026 Winter Pickleball Commercial League has narrowed down to the final six teams vying for the championship. The Division 2 Championship tournament will conclude next week with Conduit Re, Chubb and Orbis in the top three spots so far.
A spokesperson said, “This week also features a more relaxed Social tournament with our Beginners in Division 3 honing their skills under the watchful eye of our coaches.
“The league is very popular with over 200 registered players in 20 teams competing across three divisions this season. Four teams of advanced players compete in Division 1 on Tuesday nights, while Intermediate Division 2 and Beginner Division 3 play on Thursdays. Thursday nights draw the most attendance, with 16 teams and their supporters, who are mainly co-workers. All games are played at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
“The 20 teams include both private groups and members from top Island companies. Players vary in experience, from experts to complete beginners. Volunteers dedicate Thursday evenings to teach the sport.
