Stetson Claim Triangle Collegiate Honours
Isaki Sakashita carded a final-round 74 to claim the individual title at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate as Stetson University completed a clean sweep at Port Royal.
Sakashita overturned an overnight deficit to team-mate Ailsa Brannock, finishing four shots clear after her three-over-par round, which included four birdies.
Brannock, who led after 36 holes, slipped to second after a final-round 78, while Wofford’s Bella Kent finished third after an 81.
Stetson secured the team title with a three-round total of 48-over par, finishing 32 strokes ahead of joint runners-up the University of Albany and Wofford, who both ended at 80-over.
Bermuda’s Sienna Mosquera, representing Lehigh University, carded a final-round 78 to finish tied for 21st at 26-over, with Lehigh seventh in the team standings.
