Basden Sets 200m Personal Best At UCF
Bermudian athlete Cameron Basden recorded a personal best in the 200 meters while competing for Barry University at the UCF Knights Invite in Orlando.
Basden won the sixth heat of the 200m, posting a time of 21.72 seconds. The mark represents a lifetime best and placed him 22nd overall in a field of 59 competitors.
He also competed in the long jump, recording a best effort of 6.65 meters [21 feet 10 inches], which placed him 13th in the event.
The UCF Knights Invite featured a field requiring qualifying standards for entry.
