CARIFTA Swim Team Welcomed Home
Bermuda’s CARIFTA swim team received an official welcome home from Minister Alexa Lightbourne, who praised their achievements and commended their pride and discipline in representing the island.
A Government spokesperson said, “Last evening [Thursday] Bermuda’s CARIFTA swim team was officially welcomed home by the Minister of Home Affairs and Acting Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, the Hon. Alexa Lightbourne. On behalf of the Government, Minister Lightbourne congratulated the team on their success and achievement and thanked them for representing Bermuda with integrity, discipline and pride.”
