Junior Sailors Conclude Slovenia Regatta
A team of young Optimist sailors have concluded their competitions at the Sailing Point Easter Regatta in Slovenia.
The island’s team included Jesse Savage, Thomas McBain, Heath Meyers, Elaine Jones, Rex Henagulph, Miguel Leite, Walker Smith and Alfie Jansma.
McBain finished nineteenth, Meyers 50th and Savage 64th in the Gold fleet.
In the Silver fleet, Henagulph placed 40th and Jansma finished 69th; meanwhile, in the Bronze fleet, Leite was eighth and Smith placed 58th.
The sailors were accompanied by national coach Pablo Weber and several parents.
