Video: Harry Twite Named Man Of Match
Bermuda footballer Harry Twite was named man of the match as Basford United drew 1-1 at home to Shephed Dynamo in the NPL Division One Midlands yesterday [April 11].
The defender recently joined Basford from Loughborough Students for the remainder of the season.
Twite said his team were pleased to have secured a play-off place.
“We did what we came to do and confirmed the play-offs – we’ve got to be happy with that,” Twite said.
“It’s been very easy to settle – [my team-mates] couldn’t have been more welcoming.
“We’ve got the ability to win all our remaining fixtures. We can’t take our foot off the pedal.”
Twite has previously played for King’s Lynn Town and Wisbech Town in the English non-leagues.
