Clarien Bank Joins 2026 CARIFTA Sponsors

Clarien Bank Limited has announced its sponsorship of the 2026 CARIFTA Triathlon & Aquathlon Championships, supporting youth sport, healthy communities and its growing presence across the Caribbean.

A spokesperson said, “Clarien Bank Limited has announced its sponsorship of the 2026 CARIFTA Triathlon & Aquathlon Championships, reinforcing its commitment to investing in young people, supporting healthy communities and strengthening its growing presence across the Caribbean.

“The Championships, taking place on 24 and 25 October, will welcome approximately 200 athletes aged 11 to 21 from 12 Caribbean nations to Bermuda for the region’s premier youth triathlon competition. Bermuda will host the event as defending champions after winning the overall CARIFTA Trophy for the first time in 2025.

“The sponsorship reflects Clarien’s Clarien for Life philosophy, supporting individuals throughout every stage of life, from encouraging children to participate in sport through initiatives such as Iron Kids Bermuda, to helping young athletes compete on the regional stage and achieve their ambitions. “Olympic and World Champion Flora Duffy will attend the Championships, inspiring the next generation of Caribbean athletes as they compete on Bermudian soil.

Karen Smith is President of the Bermuda Triathlon Association, with former President Steven Petty remaining on the BTA Executive to support the Association and the delivery of the Championships.
