Bermuda U15s Defeat Bahrain 4-0 At World Cup
Bermuda’s under-15 national football team defeated Bahrain 4-0 at the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Thursday [October 29]. Adam Barritt scored twice for Bermuda, with Krayvon Bean-Burchall and Legend Robinson adding a goal each in the 4-0 victory.
The young Gombey Warriors returned to winning ways after a 5-0 defeat to North Macedonia earlier in the day. The victory set up a meeting with Jordan in a Tier D placement match today [October 30], the final day of the tournament.
The inaugural tournament features eight-a-side matches with two 20-minute halves. Teams were divided into six tiers following the group stage, with every team continuing to play through to the final matchday.
