Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: Betty Muriel Rebecca Lespere.
A Homegoing service for Betty Muriel Rebecca Lespere, daughter of the late Percy and Magdeline Caines, loving mother to Janet D. Smith “Pinky”, Suzette Smith “Suzie”, Anthony Lespere“Bossie” and Joann Richardson “Josie”; sister to the late Maurice Caines “Mickey”, Frederick Caines “Buddy/Sticks” and Wilma Ezekiel. Surviving siblings: Percy Caines, Rosamond Rawlins “Rozie”, Marva Trott, Rosemarie Belboda “Mimi” and Hewitt Caines “Ricky”, in her 87th year of 14 Orchard Grove, Pembroke, will be held at the First Church of God, North Shore, Pembroke today, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St John’s Pembroke Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren Shawn Smith, Jamal Smith (Jenea), Siara Smith, Khiari Lespere (Kolby), Paul Smith, Deshi Smith, Shai Richardson and Kali Lespere; special grandchildren Kharizmah and Zai Daniels; Great grandchildren Jayla Smith and Azai Hunt-Gibbons and Amaya Smith; Sons-in-law Albert Smith “Junior” and B. Marsh Smith; daughter-in-law Shanna Lespere; brother-in-law Winston “Coe” Trott, sisters-in-law Lynn Caines, Eunice Caines, VerlinaCaines; special friends Pat Mallory, Joan Hollis, Millicent Francis and her many nephews, nieces and cousins, far too many to name; The Warwick Lanes Family and so many other friends made along the way.
