Bulley-Graham-Rawlins Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Charles Edward Ray of 11 Spanish Heights Estate, Smiths, in his 94th year, loving husband of the late Margaret Ray, son of the late Tony and Philly Ray, and beloved father of Elaine Kelly [Joe] and Sandra Abraham [Dave]. Charlie is also survived by his grandchildren Sean [Katie], Claire, and Michelle Kelly, great-grandchildren Matthew and Anna Kelly, sisters-in-law Lydia Lines and Candy Ray, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his sisters Hilda Morris, Blanche Marshall, Rose Corday, Adelaide Hughes, Ann Pedro, Ruth Gladwin, and his brothers Manuel, Martin, Kelly, and Gene Ray. A service will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 3:30 pm. Interment will follow at Holy Calvary Cemetery, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire.
The service will be live streamed on the YouTube JROC Communications channel [YouTube.com/jrocbda]. Colors may be worn.
