It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Hyacinth Josephine Rodney, in her 80th year of 72 Roberts Avenue, Devonshire HM 15. Daughter of the late Elsie and Edgar Perry [Trinidad & Tobago]. Beloved wife of Carl Rodney; loving and devoted mother to Bert and Carlene Rodney, mother-in-law to Denise; loving and devoted grandmother to Carleigh Rodney. She is predeceased by her brothers: Reynold [Trinidad], Russell [UK], Lennox [USA], and Clive [Canada]. She is survived by her brother, Kenrick and sister-in-law Shelia [Canada]; sisters: Mavis and brother-in-law Graham [UK], and Shirley [Canada]. Special mention: sister-in-law Glenda Perry and family [Canada], Merle Durrant and family [USA], and Ann Rodney and family [Trinidad], a graveside service will be held Pembroke Parish Cemetery, Today, March 5, 2022 at 11am.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly remembered by numerous nephews and nieces of the families: Arthur, Rodney, Marcelle and Perry, the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses family, the John Smith’s Bay ‘Dawn Swimmers’ and friends too numerous to mention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to P.A.L.S. Bermuda, 18 Point Finger Road, DV 04, Bermuda. Colors may be worn.
