Bulley-Graham-Rawlins Funeral Home. It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Joan Anne Gilbert, loving wife of Colin Gilbert, stepmother of Matthew Gilbert, youngest daughter of John Russell Steinhoff and Mary Gertrude Steinhoff. Joan is survived by siblings, John [Jack] R Steinhoff [Linda], Robert [Bob] Steinhoff, and Mary Linda Durner [Jack].
Joan is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Joan was predeceased by sister-in-law Pat Steinhoff. Joan was known for kindness and a big heart and will be missed greatly by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and caregivers at KEMH, PALS, and Home Care Services and all those who have helped us through these difficult times.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Devonshire on Friday, June 21st, 2024 at 4 pm. Summer colours are encouraged. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to PALS of Bermuda.
