Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Mrs. Joan Violet Fostine-DeSilva Smith.
A Homegoing service for Mrs. Joan Violet Fostine-DeSilva Smith, beloved wife of the late Eugene Smith, daughter of the late John and Marjorie Fostine-DeSilva, sister of the late Stanley, William, Henry, Louise and Beatrice, in her 89th year of 7 Devon Lane, Devonshire, will be held at St. John’s Church, Pembroke, Today, May 9, 2023 at 2:30 pm.
Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery, Devonshire.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by nieces: Diannah, Dale, Pennie, Tina, Marjorie; nephews: Dereck, Robert, Shane, John, Claude, the late Dennis; numerous great nieces and nephews; special cousins: Ivy, Florence, Elizabeth, Erskine [Choe], Cecily, Sam, Belita, Shelley; godchildren: Karla and Jarvis; other relatives and special friends too numerous to mention.
