Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Phyllis Edith Louise Trott.
A Homegoing Service for Phyllis Edith Louise Trott, beloved wife of the late Cecil “Tommy” Trott, devoted mother to Cecily Smith [Herman “Butch” Smith], Clarence and Dennis Trott, and the late Brian and Allan Trott, in her 98th year of 18 Hillsdale Estate, Smith’s Parish, will be held at St. Mark’s Church, Smith’s, today, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Phyllis is lovingly survived by grandchildren: Brian Trott, Danielle Hayward, Pamela Smith and Dennis Trott Russell; great-grandchildren: Sihle’, D’Nye-Jha and Khiari [Calai] Sharrieff-Hayward, Yindiia and Yaiisa Russell, Azaiya Smith, Tyrone Smith, Xiaje Smith and MalayahSwan; great-great-grandchildren: Kruise Minors-Hayward and Kaid Sharrieff-Hayward; sisters: Pauline Dickinson [late Wilton] and Barbara Dyer [late Albert]; in-laws Delores Thomas, Madeline Trott, Earlin, Ernest and Mitchell Trott; special friends: The St. Mark’s Guild and Church Family; and by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Phyllis E. L Trott was predeceased by her parents: Samuel and Joyce Trott; siblings: William “Toes/Shifty” Trott and Joycelyn Smith; in-laws: Nancy Trott, Joan Ascento Napier, Angela Trott, Roger Trott; special friends Mrs. Cecily Outerbridge and Dr. Dorothy Matthews-Paynter.
