We regret to announce the passing of Sinclair Winston Simons.
We regret to announce the death of Mr. Sinclair Winston Simons, beloved husband of Joanne Maria Simons, loving father of Jahmal [Lavina], Joshua [Mashundae] and Jatia Simons, Sinclair and Denzel Amos. Loving son of Rita Sylvia Georgina Jones and Allen Sinclair Seymour “Imps” [Betty] – USA; stepson of the late Dennis Burgess and the late Peniston Jones in his 60th year of 10 Redkiln Road, Hamilton Parish, CR02.
His Home-going service will be held at the Heritage Worship Centre, 55 Dundonald Street, Hamilton Today, August 18th, 2020 at 12 noon.
Internment will follow at the St. James Anglican Church, 90 Main Road, Somerset.
There will be no viewing.
He was cherished “Papa” to Jabari and Jelani Simons, Rayne Simons, Za-den Foggo Simons, Dinero Warner and Skylah Trott-Amos [Sky]. He will be greatly missed by Sisters – Debra and Donna Simons, Dawnette Trott [Mike], Rocheen Seymour Baker [Anthony] – USA, Stacey Seymour Gonel [Jeffrey] – USA, Lisa Seymour [Josh] – USA; Brothers – Cedric and Craig Burgess, Terry Seymour [Deborah], Allen Seymour [Colleen] – USA, Dal Jones – USA; Aunts – Patricia [Ricky] Richards, Brenda Fubler, Rita Furbert [Angel – deceased]; Uncles – Winston “Bluff”, Noel [Barbara] and Randy Simons and Roger Seymour. He had numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, godchildren, cousins, friends, neighbours and work colleagues too numerous to mention. In-laws: Mother-in-law – Delores Proctor; Sister-in-law – Laverne Proctor, Brothers-in-law: Gregory [Heidi]; Wendell “Gussa” [the late Angela] and Shane Proctor. Special niece-in-law: Deandre Michelle Proctor and the Young, Taylor, Smith & Francis families. Special friends and families: Monique Amos and the Romney family, Jahi Foggo & family, Daeshon Warner & family, Mrs. Ida Burgess and the Outerbridge family, the Heritage Worship family especially the Youth and Mime Groups; the Works & Engineering family [Painting Division] and the Jet Blue Family. Extra special thanks to Bishop Lloyd and First Lady Shanda Duncan; Loilitta Phillips, Stacey and Kevin Outerbridge and Leah Dean.
He was also predeceased by Grandparents – Quinton & Marion Simons and Helen Seymour; Aunts – Pamela Crockwell and Paulette Seymour Bascombe and Uncle Albert “Bluff’ Simons. Please wear face masks at the Viewing and Funeral and colours may be worn.
