Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Thelma Joyce Dill.
A homegoing service for Thelma Joyce Dill, daughter of the late Pearl and Charles Emery, loving mother to Robert “Sai” Emery [Simons], Lornette Simons, Ralph Simons [Anita], David and Kent Simons, Stephan Dill, the late Allan and Gregory ‘Butch’ Simons, sister to Shirley Dill [Hanks], Gilbert Emery [Seleta USA], Dorothy Middleton [the late Colin], Carol “Judy” Emery, Wendy Emery, Betty Nusum [Shirley], the late Raymond Emery, [Esther], Shiela-Marie Emery and Reginald Emery [Marsha], Stephen [Jimmy] Emery [Darlene], in her 91st year of 7 Corner Cottage, Blue Bell Lane, Sandys, will be held at Jehovah’s Witness, Kingdom Hall, Hamilton on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Melvin Simons, Sia Spence, Rashaan Emery, Nikia Ward, Tuara Beek, Jason Simons, Hayley Burchall, Shauntia Zuill, Janae Trott, Asha Robinson, Daymel and Davita Simons, Termel Wolfe, Ceblle Saltus; 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; Aunts; Iris Emery and Sylvia Edwards. Special friends: Rosie Roberts, Rose Simmons, Sandra Subair, Tiny Bean, plus, relatives and friends too many to name. Special thanks to caregiver Jenny Smith and the nurses and doctors in the Emergency Department, Ascendant Partner Re and Agape House.
